Only been playin a couple hours so far, but here's my take on it as of now.
This is definitely a team-based game. For those who just like to go for kills and don't like team/objective based games, then this might not be for you. I love team games, and you level faster by doing things that help your team, vs. going for kills and free roaming on your own. This game is all about sticking together and having the back of your squad members. There is a solo campaign, but it gets rather dull after a while.
Your character does level up, but it's not the focus of the game. It's all about the teamwork and just having fun with it.
Can have up to 8 players in co-op, and just having 2 or 3 others with me is fun, 7 other people would be AWESOME! It takes some getting used to at first. The AI wooped my butt for the first hour or so, but after I got familiar with the controls I was enjoying it quite a bit.
The SMART system is fluid and smooth, the weaponry is fun and there's a good amount to choose from.
There is no lobby system but you can form a FIRETEAM and it sticks you/your friends in a sub group and you will stick together as you go through games and can have different voice settings.
And of course, as with most first day releases, there is some lag issues, but hopefully that'll get fixed pretty quick.
Overall, I'm glad I got this game. And I hate comparing this game to another, because this game is pretty much a game of it's own, but if i HAD to compare it to something, I'd say it sort of has a Battlefield/Team Fortress 2 feel to it.
Sooo my review on it-- Singleplayer gets a 7/10 and the Multiplayer/co-op gets a 9/10
If you're skeptical about it, it's definitely worth a rental, no doubt about it. This is one of those games you're either going to love, or you're going to hate it, straight up.

The campaign can be set up solo with bots, or you can make it a join in progress where friends can just join in whenever.

Because the credit card on the account belonged to my ex-fiance, so when i had to call for some account questions, they wanted me to verify the last 4 numbers on the card, and when i couldn't they locked the account. And my ex has a different phone number now, so i couldn't get a hold of him to get the info, so i just said hell with it and made a different account. it was easier to just use a different email and set up a new one lol. Even after I tried explaining to them the situation they didn't believe me. I guess they thought I was just trying to steal the account or something.
Ex's and Microsoft are pains in the ass.

Someone told me the game has a battlefront feel to it..
I've been told the same thing, only you spawn, die...........spawn, die....................spawn, die. Maybe it's not that bad, but I've heard it from 2, yes 2 people.
Why am I in the Forums instead of gaming on LIVE?
