man i feel old with all these reboots as i can remember the originals lol, i mean the 1st spidey movie franchise was in 2001-02?

i do feel the last spiderman was pretty crap and it was kinda going the way of pantomine (like the batman man films b4 Christian Bale donned the suit). so hopefully this will be a bit more "darker"

do like Andrew Garfield, thought he was pretty awsome in Social network

I have just re-watched the spider-man trilogy,number 3 is still pretty crap

okay more on The Amazing Spider-man(which is the full title)

remember the webslinging from the actual wrists in Spider-man?,well now they are going back to having 'shooters' attached to his wrists(see first pic below for what i mean),which is i think what the 70s Spidey films had(i loved those)

you saw Dr Connors in Spider-man 2 and 3,but it didn't go on about how he was/became The Lizard...funny how his arm there is set up for green screen,wouldn't it still look like his arm was in the sleeve?




also,looking at the cast on IMDb,it seems that Richard and Mary Parker(peters parents) will make an appearance,probably as an introduction

no Mary Jane,this focus's on Peters first feel up,Gwen Stacy(who was in Spidey 3),Denis Leary is also in it as Gwen's Father

Ah HA! Finally some names I recognize! LOL

As for Doc Connors arm, it could just be amputated/disfigured at the wrist or something. That would set him up to become The Lizard. You know, experiments with lizard DNA to get his hand to regenerate, but of course it goes terribly wrong, blah, blah, blah, becomes bent on revenge/destruction, etc. It's a reboot after all, so anything goes.

But anyway, I think Stacy Keach would be a much better choice to play The Lizard, after all he did a great job playing a lizard in that Cheech and Chong movie! Man, I've never seen a reptile smoke so much weed before.
