The Dark Knight Rises is the title for the upcoming Batman film,i can't say i am thrilled with the title,i wanted a title that was as different as 'The Dark Knight' was to 'Batman Begins',but i am confident it will be a great film again with Nolan still at the helm...oh and he has opted against 3D,good man

The Movie wont feature The Riddler like previously rumoured and from the title i am guessing its all about Batman getting his mojo back with Gotham City(if you remember at the end of the last film he was more or less a fugitive)

some new cast have been added,Matthew Modine,Tom Conti and Joey King

now,i had to look up who Joey King was,and its a 11 year old girl,and this casting worried me the most,as her wiki page now says that she is rumoured to be playing Carrie Kelley in the new Batman film

and for those who are not up on who Carrie Kelley is,she became the new Robin

someone has also mentioned that she will play Babara Gordon,who if you read the bio in Batman Arkham Asylum,she is Oracle who was the original Batgirl before she had her back broke by The Joker,and then confined to a wheelchair and she became Oracle and helps Batman out with shite load of info when he needs it

now,i am sure...i hope....that her becoming Robin wont happen in this movie(a fucking 11 year old???)or even Batgirl/Oracle for that matter...but maybe its to set up future films...which Nolan has admitted he wont be apart of as this is to be his last,i think Christian Bale said the same thing...i think both of them said that there was no room for Robin in their films
this is all of course if the rumours are true that she is to play Carrie Kelley

it's rumoured that Matthew Modine is playing someone called Nixon,i have looked about,and i can't find anyone called that in the Batman Universe,either i missed something or its a new character to the Batman Universe

as for Tom Conti,no idea who he will play

doesnt give much away. that bit near the end made me wonder, batman looked a bit wobbly on his feet, something we have never seen b4

on another note, i had dinner with a friend a few weeks back and they said they had a film crew filming (of all things) at a building across the road, said they saw Morgan freeman, Michael Caine and Christain Bale. Dunno what they were doing ;-)
