Mad Max Fury Road is due in 2012

Star Trek Nemesis bad guy(he was also in Inception) Tom Hardy is to play Max while Charlize Theron is to play his wife


now,from what i hear its how Max became 'Mad',and as said,his wife is in it...so,this can mean either of two things

1-is a restart to the franchise,as we already know how Max became Mad...but that means next they will be remaking Mad Max 2...let me be the first to say how fucking dare they!!


or

2-Mad Max the first film was a smash hit all over the world except America,while Mad Max 2 was called The Road Warrior there and a hit,now maybe America is making a prequel to The Road Warrior,pretty much meaning they are ignoring Mad Max 1



FWIW-the DVD release of Mad Max 2 at least here in the UK is now called Mad Max 2:The Road Warrior


apparently in 2008,Mel Gibson turned down the script for Mad Max 4,i am guessing it wasn't the same script as this


by the time this film comes out,that is if indeed it does make its 2012 release,it would of been 27 years since the last Mad Max film(Mad Max:Beyond Thunderdome)


i am currently watching my Mad Max trilogy,the first film has (your choice that is)the original Australian audio,that you when you select it,you realised how badly dubbed the film was when dubbed with American accents
