Brandon Routh has expressed interest by saying he would love to play Superman again although he admits that it is out of his power,Christopher Nolan himself has said that Routh certainly looks the part,but he is afraid the Audience will see 'Man of Steel' as a sequel to Superman Returns rather than the restart its supposed to be..he is however giving Brandon Routh a screen test

some people have suggested Smallville actor Tom Welling to play Supes
i for one,think Brandon Routh was the best thing about Superman Returns,and would love to see him return...Christopher Nolans fears are that people will think its a sequel rather than a restart...well,i know its a restart now...so problem solved

i just hope they don't have the same colours as Bad Superman for the new Superman film like 'Returns' did,the Red was too dark
FWIW-i didn't mind Superman Returns at all,just some of the story was shit(like bringing a kid into the frame was pretty much suicide),i liked the cast though
