is 8.99 standard issue for MMOs? i dunno wether to let this game go as ive not got enough time to oomplete games as it is

yeah for those MMOs that charge,£8.99 is pretty much the standard,its how much i was paying when i was in Star Wars Galaxies and Final Fantasy 11

but as said,charging is becoming old hat now,some people in that Kotaku thread said that they will wait 6 months until it becomes free 2 play

so,we have not had any Star Wars Battlefront III news for some time,and actually i have none to give now...still nothing official anyway


However,remember Spark Unlimited?,they are the devs who are heavily rumoured to be making Star Wars Battlefront III(its a Sci-Fi 3rd person shooter franchise AAA sequel for an anticipated crowd<<<their words)

well they are aware that we(Battlefront Community)are keeping an eye on them and a lot of them have been answering our questions,and usually the BF3 questions have been answered with the generic you will have to get in touch with LucasArts if you want any word on SWBF,as their publisher is in charge of when they announce the game


now recently,they have started to answer questions with the word 'front' in,no big deal but after a couple of times it seemed a but strange,now however someone asked if there would be a countdown to the game or just a straight out announcement,this was their reply

You know I do believe that this will come out, but I have a feeling it will be based on the Clone Wars CGI. With our luck it will even have that cartoon style to it. However if it plays as good or better than SWBF1 then I will be a happy cartoon game playing fool!

More Star Wars Battlefront 3/Spark Unlimited hopes

In a nutshell the Spark Unlimited guys came from one side of town to the other to have dinner with their publishers,which is a 3 minute drive from LucasArts,and from there on they went to The Infusion Lounge for a GDC after party

Funnily enough LucasArts were hosting the after party


Separately on Spark Unlimiteds Twitter account someone asked how long ago the games Prequel was released(because it is widely known that this is a Sci Fi Third Person Sequel)

the answer was "Since I can't discuss the game, I can't discuss its prequels."

So prequels,there was more than one game before this one they are working on

They are still saying that they are expecting this game to be announced in 2012 by their publisher,hopefully E3 will hold the answers(which is 3 months away)

Apparently if you have Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City(Mobeye),then in the files of the game it contains pictures from Star Wars Battlefront Online which Operation Raccoon City developers Slant Six were working on before it got cancelled

i saw in a 360 gaming mag that as company called Spark Unlimited were advertising job opportunities to work on an untitled Star War project? so our hopes of BFIII may not have been slice down quicker "i dont like you either guy" in a cantina

you always answered to what i said with the 'I'll believe when its in my hands' type comment ...see page 4 when LucasArts announced the Unreal tech they were now using and Spark already announced they were using Unreal and you all shot me down,you bastards!!...and see the top of this page

I have been tweeting them for awhile as well,my last question to them was how many people they now employ because they are announcing new people everyday,he answered not sure but over 100 but no more than 150

They don't wish to tell people their publisher either because people will guess what the game is from that

I also asked them that if this sequel was popular would they like to take on the series for future instalments as i said if it is the sequel i hope it is,we need a regular developer and they said they would love to

sorry Orph lol, i only mentioned Spek unlimitedf as a i saw it in a recent issue of xbox 360 magazine, si thought i would throw it out there, but obviously i was well behind the info curve lol
