I was reading an article today that yesterday a bunch of the new Zune 30s started committing suicide all by themselves. They've nicknamed the incident Z2K. Blue screen of death and all.

It's crazy, I've heard so many people say bad things about the iPod and all that. I've had my 8gb iPod nano for years and nothing has gone wrong with it. But that sucks for all those people that this has happened to, I wonder if they'll have to ship it off in a mini-coffin lol.

It was only one model that had the problem but every one got affected. Mine included. It turns out it just failed for the day. A last day of the leap year bug. It's funny because I thought all the zunes have the same software but apparently not since it only hit the 30 gig model.
I am up and running again. Unfortunatly my NAS hard drive went and when I tried to sync it deleted all my stuff on my zune insted of copying it back to hard drive.
I am very happy with my zune. In fact I am considering buying the 120 gig for myself for my birthday
