Has anyone seen the latest starship troopers film yet? Read nothing but bad things about it but I didnt mind the first one and figured they were supposed to be tongue in cheek anway. Thought I might take a look at it.

i tried watching online but the cgi was just horrible. They brought back casper van dien. From what i saw of it the movie wasnt one that took itself seriously

Well, I have to say that the first one was one of the best B rated movies I've ever seen. The second one was a joke, so I never bothered with the 3rd, but I will. Point is, the first one rocks!

just a quickie for us Brits, Starship Troopers 2 is on Channel 5 2nite (8th), havent seen it, dare say it aint a patch on the 1st one, but i will record this 2nite either way

2 things,first of all have you noticed they always put decent films on,on a monday night(as well as starship troopers 2 they also have a history of violence(the Viggo mortensen and David Cronenberg film)...they know everyone is in work the next morning,why dont they put them on during the weekend?(its been happening for months now,decent film on monday nights)

also,have you ever been watching a film on ITV 3 or ITV 4?..they pretty much have started to put commercial breaks in the middle of someones sentance..i was watching a film on saturday(or sunday)..can't remember what film it was,but the guy hadnt finished what he was saying and they put a commercial break in,they did it last week with 'along came polly'

Meh, the 2nd one was no where near as good as the first one. I saw the first one when I was in like 4th grade and it was amazing! For Halloween that year I was a Rough Neck.

commercial breaks mid sentence, my god yes, "I see" 5 minutes of commercials "dead people" what the hell? Me and my wife are in fits of laughter sometimes.

The first starship troopers came out around about the time I was looking at buying my first DVD player and I remmember they had it playing in the shop, the picture and effects blew me away, although the neon violin did nothing for me.

I rented the first one and it was an OK movie. I'd be interested in seeing the other two just because I'd like to see what the y do with it. It's not a must see for me. I seem to remember reading about this and I think 3 ignores 2. Not sure though
