the announcement has only been made for Japan at the moment....a week later,if we still havent got it,i will try my hong kong account(as its silver and i have to wait for demos a week)..i have had other stuff from there that have been announced for Japan

Japanese gaming mag Famitsu has revealed that Xbox 360 owners will be getting a special holiday treat next week, as a co-op demo for Capcom's Resident Evil 5 drops on Friday, December 5th.

The demo will consist of two stages, most likely the ones we've seen played through at trade shows throughout the summer, playable in either single player or co-op modes. Also in the article is news that Resident Evil 5 (okay, Biohazard 5) is being pushed up a week exclusively in Japan, now slated for release on March 5th instead of the 12th.

Keep in mind that the announcement only covers Japan, and only regards the Xbox 360, so PlayStation owners and non-Japanese folk will just have to wait while we poke Capcom vigorously with a stick.

nice find Orph, finger crossed we might see this, but the Res evil series and Capcom has always had a strong link to Japan, so i wouldnt be surprised if this doesnt head east for a while.
also, this is slated for a March/April release, so its a bit soon for a demo anyways, it wouldnt surprise me if this is just a sweetener to keep the Japs happy

You gave me a big stiffy with the Topic, then when I read into it that it may only be for Japan it sagged. I've been waiting with a semi since the trailers came out. I can't wait.
