thats what i thought at first, but then he said he had the disc in
is your 360 not connected to the internet Kralon?...it usually downloads the emulation software when you try playing a BC game,if it is indeed the disc
IF it is a 'xbox original' (which is what MS calls them)downloaded from the marketplace for 1200..i am wondering if its one of those problems with not being able to play the game without being connected online...like some Arcade games you get...you cant play them offline,i forgot what it is that its called

Here's an example.
First time you played SWBF, you DL'd the update (emulator sotware) and played it. And all was good in the world. What happened that you didn't see, was that software you DL'd had a foursome with your GamerTag and your Hard Drive and Xbox Serial Number. By the Laws created by Microsoft, the four of them had to get married.
Now you've taken away the hard drive and have dissolved the marriage. Divorce. And we all know what happens then. Nothing F'n works. The Serial Number won't cook diner anymore, your GamerTag just sits around all day and watches Jerry Springer, and the damn software is always tryin to make you watch the kids.
And to make matters worse, you bring a new Hard Drive into the home. Well, now you've done it buddy. GamerTag and Serial Number won't even look at you. The sotware.... the software is being a real bitch. All she does is sit there now. Taking up space, and using all your money, err, I mean resources.
Well, shit. Everyone was getting along great till software showed up. You know what you gotta do, man. Take her out. And I'm not talkin dinner and a movie. Hire a hit man if you need to, but DELETE that sotware!
Now GamerTag and Serial Number can come to terms with the new Hard Drive, and will renew thier friendship.
What you say? You still want to play that game? Well, don't go bringing that software into this house again. Not unless you want GamerTag to go apeshit on your ass. You'll hafta call the PO-lice and everything.
What you need is a friend. A third party. Someone to vouch for software. Have another GamerTag come over to visit. Then have that GamerTag DL software. Once they are re-introduced using the other GamerTag, everyone will have another foursome, but this time it will be with the visiting GamerTag, yours still has issues to resolve. But at least everything will work again.
At least untill you 360 fries, then you get to go through this again.
Moral of the Story: Just use your damn XBOX 180 to play old games.
Since Tier is a total nerd and may not understand complex social interactions (beyond "You want me to stick it WHERE?!?"), I have included a translation that he may understand. Using the biggest and most complicated words I can think of.
Tiers Translation:
DELETE the malfunctioning content from your SATA 120GB Fixed Disc Drive, using the provided System utility included in the current version of the Microsoft XBOX 360 dashboard 'System Blade'. This should take approximately 20 milliseconds for each 50 killobytes of data as the Fixed Disc Drive has a rotational spped of 5400 R.P.M. and a average transfer rate of 1.2 Gigabytes per second (1000 milliseconds as everyone should know).
Next you will need to sign in to your Microsoft XBOX 360 using a GamerTag other than the one that originally downloaded the downloadable content and download the downloadable content with it. You cannot simply change the name of the original GamerTag, it must be a completely different GamerTag.

Well just a couple of weeks ago I had to pay $4.99 AGAIN for the SWBF2 maps. Apparently when I got my replacement 360 my downloaded maps were corupt or something. My dumbass should of just plugged up the old xbox, but I was being lazy and besides it's only about a gallon of gas hahahaha.

I have seen poeple write into magazines about this, they said you need to transfer the licences from your old console to you new one (there must be some kinda Cache memory on the console, a marriage certificate of sorts
This site here from Xbox.com gives you instructions to transfer the licences
This makes me think, will the Arcade games i downloaded prior to my console change, play on my new console as i dont think i played any of my old XBLA games since the change?

I've been meaning to try the data migration thing to see if it works on the SWBF2 maps, but haven't got around to it. I just know that as soon as I do, my new 360 will croak.
If you have to buy them again, you should be able to call customer support and get them to refund the $4.99.
