See now I'm on the fence whether to get this for the wii or the 360. It would be interesting to see how the remote works with this game.

the lightsabre isnt really the focus of attention in this game...so i would save getting a star wars game for the Wii until the next game comes out AFTER that new motion + thing that Ninty are bringing out for the Wiimote(that Lucasarts are pissed off with because Nintendo didnt tell them about it)

I thought I read somewhere that the Wii version will have like a lightsaber duel mode, like a mini game you can play TFU characters in a lightsaber battle fighting game. Ah ha found it.

The Wii lightsaber game is the Clone Wars game, should be oput in november, and is a Wii/DS exclusive. I saw the lightsaber controller for it today at Target.

As for TFU, I liked the demo right up until the end. After dying 10 times, I figured out what I was suppossed to do to defeat it, and I said "OH! It's one of THOSE games!"

Now it already had one strike against it, no multiplayer. By default, that means I don't buy it on day one. Now I find out it's one of those "push THIS botton NOW" games. That's a second strike. So now I've got to wait till it goes on sale/bargin bin.

My only concern is the story. I usually buy these for the story.

Today I went out and picked up the book. (along with Civ Revolution, a birthday present to myself)

I'll let you know if it's any good, but I won't give details if it's spoilery, at least not till the game is out.

I am starting to feel the same as Homebuilt. With so many other games coming out (and out but not finished) I think this is one I am going to wait on.

Well for one, like Barb said I didn't know it was backward compatible. Secondly I have it for PC but never played it. So I loaded it, and after what seemed like hours of frustration with the keyboard / mouse thing (actually probally only really 15 minutes) I got the hang of it. Being I'm only really interested in a quick story, I enabled cheats in the ini file and been having a blast. Hell I blew through Mass Effect in less than 5 hours with a level 60 soldier on casual, fun times, you ought to try it. Granted in 3 days I've only got about 4 hours of gameplay done, so with work being it as it may right now, my game time is limited. Hell, I only got home less than an hour ago. Can't wait for the weekend. Oh crap, have to go out of town Saturday. Well there's always Sunday. Point is, it's fun , it's relaxing, and holy crap this game is long. hahaha But with the limited game time, KOTOR has peaked my interest in TFU, so all's good.
