I am a good fan of crap movies, and this one has to be one of the gayest I have ever seen, pun intended. This was badly written, in very poor quality, and that combined with great execution of the joke made it a very funny movie. Not a constant on the floor laughing but definitely worth the rental price if you hanging at home drinking.
I give it 3 out of 4 beers. or in referance to the movie itself 3/4 an errection.

Oh god, I saw that movie some months ago and man, did I regret seeing it. Kept on looking at my watch to see when the damn movie was going to end. Seems like what is considered funny these days is not what I consider funny. Airplane was funny to me as was Pulp Fiction; but this one just doesn't register as comedy to me. Guess I'm getting old : (

so,funny films is it?
yeah Blazing Saddles is a great flick as is young Frankenstien and Spaceballs(films to have a drink and laugh like a loon over)
Airplane,Top Secret and the Naked Gun films are brilliant as well
then you have clever comedy, say Groundhog day,ghostbusters....i would even go as far as say that Monty Pythons Life Of Brian is a clever comedy,it seems to be quite well put together, just for 5 English guys and one American....wheras Holy grail is just crazy...'we are the knights that go Ni'..<<<can you get any crazier??
(i have just bought Monty Python at the Hollywood Bowl for £5 at HMV..take note skin/mobeye..which now completes my Monty Python DVD movie collection)
and then you have your gross out comedy....Dumb and Dumber, somehting about mary,or my favourite Farelly brother movie,Kingpin..
Jim Carrey can be on and off ...Ace Ventura and the mask were good,Cable guy i liked but nobody else did...me,myself and irene was so-so(where he gets kicked down the hill from Renee and you see his last arm up/tumble is funny as fook)..nice compilation below,to welcome to the jungle by GnR..that fall i am talking about is about 1minute 25 ish...makes me piss everytime, and i was the only one in the cinema to laugh out loud at that.
watching this, makes me wanna watch it now
and finally we have teen movie comedy,American pie, road trip, superbad
in my opinion, any of the above films are pretty darn fine if you ask me...and yes i have them all on DVD,except superbad(which i nearly bought today)...oh wait i havent got Top secret either,i did have it on VHS though
afterthought:
Romantic Comedy........ooh,sketchy,really sketchy....dont have that many at all,i have Just Married on DVd starring Ashton Kutcher and Bittany Murphy...which was so-so
howabout Splash with Tom Hanks,Daryl Hannah and John Candy?...or definetly Roxanne with Daryl Hannah again and steve martin, you could also put that in clever comedy because it was when Steve Martin was at his best along with the man with Two brains,All of me and The Jerk
honourable mention-National Lampoon vacation films
sorry,to go on but you know me,once you get me talking about movies and i dont shut up

I'm surprised you didn't mention "Liar Liar". -Do you mind, I'm kicking my own ass! The pen is blue, the pen is blue, the goddamn pen is blue.
Ace Ventura 1/2 and this has to be 3 of the best overacting shows of his generation.
Cable Guy was good. I love his star trek fight off.

I did start off by saying I was a fan of crap movies, this one doesn’t even compare in the crap category to the old troma video "redneck zombies" they tried so hard to be serious in that one but it was so bad it was non stop funny. might have helped that me and my roommates did the mystery science theater thing while watching it.
The original lost man.

damn, yeah i liked Liar, liar a lot as well...Jim Carrey is one of the few that has the ability TO kick his own ass convincingly..seen in Liar Liar but also me,myself and Irene where Hank and Charlie(both jim carrey)is kicking each other in
there is alsos another Steve Martin film that i love and its from about 1982-ish,its called Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid, its a black and white movie and stars Martin as a detective in the 1920/30s.but the clever part is that he is acting against cutscenes from other classic 1940s films,so he gets to play along side all the classic actors like Bogart,or cary grant, ava gardner and burt lancaster...very clever and very funny movie
i need to buy this on DVD

More recently, Forgetting Sarah Marshall was great. Possibly the funniest movie I've seen. O and another good Mel Brooks one was the producers.
