okay with Crystal and Skin going see the new Incredible Hulk movie, and also The Dark Knight due soon i was thinking about all the other Marvel films there have been, and also not forgetting the DC films as well

a few years ago,the Marvel films were at full speed....films like X-MEN trilogy,DareDevil and even Hulk, now they have taken a little breather

so,what is your favourite comic book movie, and reasons..do you think they stayed faithful to the comics etc

dont forget comic book movies have been going for a while

think Superman,Batman,Spider-man,The Punisher

The Punisher,i liked the Dolph Lungren in the 80s one better than the recent one
Posted Image

spider-man movies, perhaps you liked the 70s/80s TV movies better?
Posted Image

or perhaps for the ladies, its Wonder Woman or Elektra

my favourite would have to be Superman:The Movie........for what i think,it seemed to stay faithful to the comics(bigger fans of superman comics could disagree with me)..especially having the back story of Krypton, when audiences tend to just want to go straight in there...and of course it General Zod being imprisoned set up the second movie
christopher Reeve was great as smeagle/Golum that was clark kent/superman

great theme music as well,if any music lifts you..that one does

Yeah I saw the Iron man movie too and I liked it. I also am not a big comic book reader so I wouldn't be able to tell you if it was faithful t it

i forgot about the new Iron Man move, and with the incredible Hulk out and the dakr knight out soon, perhpas comic book films havent taken a breather after all

Pogue, damn fine choice in Sin City....but that gets cancelled out with V for Vendetta,i found that one of the worse films i have seen in recent times..(still got in on DVD though for when Natalie Portman falls of the bed in a small skirt)

maybe because it was the Britsh accents that didnt work on me,not sure...it tried to make it Too British,or 'what the world thinks'...but anyway, yeah i hated it

sin city though was mega,i wasnt familiar with the comics until the film came out, looking forward to the sequel

Okay okay I loved V for its cheese factor revolutionary thought. Sure the accents were off but I did enjoy it.

Sin City was true to the comic Patrick. If you get a chance you can download them if you know where to look the original Sin City movie was based on several of the stories: The Hard Goodbye, The Big Fat Kill, That Yellow Bastard. As well as the Customer is Always Right. I've read the comics and the movie is almost page by page translation of the comics.

300 was also a Frank Miller comic that was turned into a movie.

Im upset though Sin City 2 is delayed because Robert Rodriguez is busy working on the Barbarella remake. There's another movie I saw the preview to during Indiana Jones it felt almost like it was going to be Sin City 2 I was disappointed when it was something else.

Spawn wasn't that bad either back in the day Metallic. I enjoyed it even if John Leguizamo was a bit annoying in it. but hey it had that Merlin guy from Excalibur in it so it was pretty awesome.

Umm Metallic your image didn't work apparently that site doesn't like hotlinking. Spawn he was like given powers from Hell to capture souls and lead hell's army in an attack on earth. Instead he used his powers to fight evil. From what i remember of the series there was some issues where superheroes were going to hell and he took their powers
