i was on COD4 at about 2am(GMT) this morning and playing along and i could signed out of XBL..during a game,so i had to reset my modem...it happened another two times during the night...i was thinking it was shitty Virgin Broadband

Glad it wasnt just me, i was at the dashboard and then it just sort of signed me out, when i say sort of, I still had my gamer profile with my points etc but no list of friends.
when i did a connection test it went thru it all until it got to Xboxlive test and it just failed. thing is when i look at my Xbox profile on my PC it showed that others were playing online so it wasnt a complete Xbox blackout , but obviously others have been effected be it not a the same time so it wasnt just UK based. As Orph said it was around 2am GMT, what time did this happen across the pond?

It was happening for between 9-11 pm eastern st (-5 GMT ?). People with the old xbox seemed to be playing. I did see at their website that were problems and their engineers were working on it. I quit after2hrs. Wasn't it also going to be a big nite for COD4. Some all nighter or somthing.
