i am interested to play Jeriho,but the 1st trailer did put me off somewhat,hopefully it will scare the loving shit outta me :lol:

okay i have some impressions on the demo,i have just played it,and finished it

first of all...short demo(bigger than heavenly sword demo on the PS3 though)

before you even start the game/demo there is an introduction to everyone,and my god was it boring,and i felt very overwhelmed before i even started the game(swear it lasted about 5 minutes)i was just wanting to get in the game...but you dont have to watch the introduction


so,you start off only as 3 of your team...namely a chick with a gun,who has telekinis powers,a big fook off guy who is a bit of a powerhouse and another chick who is some kind of goth,witchcraft type bird,who when uses a dagger in her hand,cutting herself makes nearby enemies catch on fire
i tried to switch to the other 3 members of the team..,but i couldnt(using the D-pad),it only gives you a choice of the 3 you have

the game,although it had a few puzzles(it took me about 5 minutes to complete the demo)....but seems as though its gonna get VERY repedative with the gunfire/enemies,so i guess using some of your offensive abilities(although not all characters have abilities that strike at a foe)could make the game a little bit more interesting...but will you be bothered after an hour or so?

with one of the girls she has a sniper rifle,when pressing down on the right analogue puts you in the sniper scope mode,and then press RB to fire a special power bullet that you can guide through more than one enemy if you are good,this is the girl you start of with as well,and if the rest of your team go down,you can heal them by standing next to them and pressing A...i am not sure if all characters can do that though,i think its a power

the big guys power,i am not really sure what it does,i press the LB/RB buttons(they are your power buttons) and the left one makes your arm appear from a big gun(at first i thought it was like barret from FF7)thats crafted over your arm,and flames arise and a ghostly snake,whereas the rb jsut makes the snake appear

the graphics are so-so,there is a part in the demo when you are in a tunnel and you have to use a flashlight,the lighting was very impressive,but the rest,when not in a tunnel looks standard(some good rain effects at the beginning though)

it also felt very much a PC game,which may please some of you..i didnt mind it


i really wanted to get to grips with everyones powers,but as i say not all are available...from the demo,the game felt a very typical affair,nothing great,very average

will i pick it up when its released?,if there wasnt so many other great titles then it prolly would find itself on my list,but with all the games due out,its not a MUST

i am interested in what you guys think though,and maybe i missed some stuff,and maybe one of you can tell me what it is that the big guys power is/does

Nice one Orph, this game looks/looked very tempting (out the same day a Blacksite last time i checked). I think its the originality and the "scaryness" that draws me to it. but as you said Orph, there are alot of great games on their way over the coming months (we have seen Halo3 already) COD4, PGR4, Army of 2,Timeshift, Blacksite to name but a few ready for the run upto Christmas. I just dont think there is enough room on the radar/my wallet to get everything that appeals to me
