Okay, to this day I still haven't figured out how to link my laptop with my 360 so that I can play my Media Player music on my 360... any help would be greatly appreciated. :D

I did this originally but something with my antivirus blocks xbox out so I have to disable the firewall on my antivirus for it to even work. I unblocked all the ports microsoft told me to do but the damn thing still didn't work. Check out:

download the software for media center rollup or something and then install. Then go to your xbox go to the part where it says media center it will do some stuff and then give you a code. When you run the setup for your pc software it will ask you for that code. Enter the code in your pc and it will do the rest.

I have an portable external hard drive, which i use to download / copy divex tv shows / movies on, then usb it to the xbox. Then in the xbox, select videos, use x button to change source device to portable device and hey presto, watch the programmes on the portable hard drive through the xbox. This works for my laptop as well
