Tonight the Omega Squad will be watching Eragon. A movie about an evil lord who is trying to rule everything. A young lad, last of the dragon riders, helps to unite the forces against him and restore peace to the land. This is supposed to be the first of 3 movies.

So, we just got back from watching Eragon. The movie is only rated PG. If it had a PG13 rating, it would have been a much better movie. There are a lot of parts that kinda drag and then a bunch that happen really quick. I think it would have been much better if they would have made it a 2 1/2 hours instead of just short of 2. They could have done a better job explaining things, but I still liked it. Definitely not great but worth a peek if you are into fantasy style movies. Not really sure how I will rate this film.

Another trilogy movie? My girlfriend wants to go see it but from the trailers it doesn't seem too good. So what would you rate it Omega? A scale from 1 to 10 with 10 being the best film you ever saw.

How long have you two been together? Hmm. It's not profitable to speak in hypothetical terms.

Yes I do know it is based on a book. I would have to ate this movie a 5. Maybe a 6 at very best, but that is stretching it.

jeremy irons is pissing me off at the moment,i think he is one of our finest actors from this country, but some of his choices are fucking dire
yes im talking about 'dungeons and sodding dragons' as well as 'the time machine'...so this one, instantly put me off wanting to see it because of those two...and i was the one who downloaded the demo for the game from xbox lives marketplace..that didnt do anything to strengthen my want for the film
but,i usually give the benefit of the doubt, and watch them when they come available on DVD...i think this is one of those films
glad they think its gonna do alright if they are planning on making a trilogy...what if it bombs worse than D&D?
flags of our fathers i think is the next big one for me,being a fan of both world war 2 and clint eastwood(with spielberg also producing the film)..oh and i wanna see Bobby as well

I really wish we would have gotten Bobby. I wanted to see it due to the enormous cast for it.
As for Jeremy Irons, I really liked him in Man in the Iron Mask. I despise Leo DiCrapyho, but I wanted to see it because of the musketeers. I thought he was phenominal in that, along with John Malcovich. I can't really say Eragon was any better than D&D, but odds are, I will own it on DVD as well.

Didn't a 16 year old boy write the book?
And yes D&D sucked.
